This summer, while mangoes continue to dominate seasonal menus through familiar desserts and sweet treats, THE OZEN COLLECTION takes a different approach to the king of fruits. Bringing together tropical mangoes with refined spirits and vibrant summer flavours, the collection introduces a refreshing take on the season through mango-forward cocktails crafted for warm island evenings. Here are two signature recipes from two bar managers across THE OZEN COLLECTION, sharing their favourite mango cocktails to try this summer.





Maadhoo Basil Smash by Prajwal D’Souza, Assistant Bar Manager, JOIE de VIVRE, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO

Ingredients:

· Fresh Mango Juice - 90ml

· Hydroponic basil - 4-5 leaves

· Bottega Bacur gin - 60ml

· Fresh lime Juice - 15ml

· Simple Syrup - 15ml

Instructions:

· Step 1: Muddle the basil leaves gently in a cocktail shaker.

· Step 2: Add the remaining ingredients into the shaker.

· Step 3: Add ice and shake all the above ingredients until chilled.

· Double strain the cocktail into a prechilled old-fashioned glass

Cooking/prep Time:

· Preparation Time: 2 minutes

· Total Time: 2 minutes

Servings: Perfect for individual serving during gatherings or to cool down.

Mango Passion by Roshan Paranagama, Bar Manager, OZAR Bar, OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI


· Vodka 60ml

· Peach Schnapps 30ml

· Mango pure 30ml

· Passion pure 30ml

· Fresh Lime juice 30ml

Instructions:

· Add lime Juice to the shaker

· Add mango pure 30ml to the shaker

· Add Passion Pure 30ml to the shaker

· Add peach schnapps 30ml to the shaker

· Add 60ml vodka to the shaker

· Add small ice cubes to the shaker and shake well

· Strain into the chilled glass

· Garnish with mint or dehydrate Lime

Cocktail Prep Time:

· 7minutes

Servings:

· In chilled told glass, perfect for small gatherings
