Jo Chahe Mango: Hyderabad Savours a Slice of Summer at Inorbit Mall
Things2Do’s mango-themed festival brought flavour, nostalgia, and homegrown talent together in a vibrant three-day celebration

Hyderabad got a delicious dose of summer joy as the mango-themed festival Jo Chahe Mango took over Inorbit Mall from May 23 to 25. Organised by Things2Do in collaboration with Inorbit Mall, the three-day event celebrated the king of fruits in every form imaginable—food, art, drinks, and memories.
After a successful debut in Pune, Jo Chahe Mango made its way to Hyderabad, transforming the venue into a lively playground of taste and creativity. From curious onlookers to seasoned foodies, crowds moved enthusiastically from stall to stall, discovering mango-infused treats and handcrafted delights by local homegrown brands.
Among the highlights was Casero, founded by Tanya Agarwal, which stole the show with its experimental Mango Chilli Dip and Mango Caramel Dip. “People kept coming back asking what that dip was. Casero’s mango magic worked!” she said. The joy was palpable as even a four-year-old was seen happily munching Cheese Rolls with Mango Caramel Dip, exclaiming, "Bohot acha laga mujhe!"
Adding an artistic splash to the event, Whimsy Wonder Workshops by Dhruthi and Devna Addagatla and Snigdha Teja drew over 200 visitors who couldn’t resist their hand-painted tote bags and colourful art pieces. Why So Creamy, another crowd favourite, whipped up fresh mango cheesecakes that sold out in just half a day.
Actors like Pallavi and influencers such as Anusha Sole and Teju Parichuri joined the celebration, mingling with the crowd and relishing the mango-inspired magic. From dips and desserts to crafts and curated experiences, each stall brought a unique taste of Hyderabad’s local talent.
A particularly heartwarming sight was a young woman running her homemade chip-and-dip stall with her smiling mother-in-law—offering not just snacks, but stories and warmth. It was moments like these that echoed a shared sentiment: “It felt like visiting grandma’s house during summer vacation.”
With Jo Chahe Mango, Things2Do brought more than just mangoes to the table—it brought people together. From sticky fingers to second servings, and the familiar chorus of “Can I have another tissue?” the event captured the essence of summer: indulgent, joyful, and completely unforgettable.
