Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli celebrates cocktail culture with an evening of storytelling and innovation

Hodd’s Cocktail Bar at Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli on Friday hosted an exclusive Bar Takeover by Red Bar, New Delhi, showcasing a vibrant mix of storytelling and innovative cocktails led by celebrated mixologist Virender Singh.

Currently the Beverage Head at Hungry N Thirsty Foods Pvt. Ltd., Singh previously helmed the bar at The Hong Kong Club, Andaz Delhi. Known for blending cheerfulness with craft, Singh infuses storytelling into his creations, offering guests a “journey through flavour.”

The Hyderabad event highlighted Red Bar’s unique philosophy — cocktails inspired by the many shades of red, symbolising passion, moods, and memories. Each drink featured a single red ingredient as its defining element.

The menu included eclectic creations such as Chocolate Cosmos, Salmon Pink, Tomato Red, Tea Rose, Chilli Red, Plum Red, The Nautch, Danza De Los Diablos, and Moh Maya, among others.

“Cocktails are stories, experiences, and emotions in a glass. Red captures that spirit — it’s more than a shade, it’s a memory and a mood,” Singh said.

Piyush Sharma, Director of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli, said the collaboration reflected the hotel’s commitment to offering “unique, immersive experiences of global standards.”
