Defence and Home Ministers join PM in reviewing security; India rejects Trump’s claim of brokering peace with Pakistan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday, the first since the pause in hostilities between India and Pakistan.He is joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah in the meeting that is assessing the latest security situation.
The prime minister will also chair the meeting of the Union Cabinet after the Cabinet Committee on Security meet. US President Donald Trump's claim of mediation between India and Pakistan in bringing about a halt in hostilities, has been rejected by India. Despite India's rebuttal, Trump again claimed that his government "brokered a historic ceasefire" between the two countries.

UP Man Arrested for Indecent Social Media Post Against PM Modi
A man identified as Sudhir Yadav from Medhauli village in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly posting indecent remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media. According to Gunnaur Circle Officer Deepak Tiwari, Yadav has been booked under Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to acts endangering the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of India. The police are investigating the matter further.

Security Tightened at Paradip Port After Ship with 21 Pakistani Crew Members Docks
Security was heightened at Odisha’s Paradip port on Wednesday following the arrival of crude oil tanker ‘MT Siren II’ with 21 Pakistani nationals among its 25 crew members. The vessel, which came from South Korea via Singapore, is carrying 11,350 metric tonnes of crude for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Amid recent military tensions between India and Pakistan, the port has been placed on high alert. According to Marine Police, no crew member will be allowed to disembark during unloading operations. The CISF and Marine Police are monitoring the situation closely, officials said.
