Dangal fever: Chinese version of Aamir Khan's Dhaakad song is absolutely adorable!

Aamir Khan has a huge fan base in China and is currently the highest-grossing Bollywood film at the international box office.

Mumbai: Almost a year has passed by since Aamir Khan-Fatima Sana Sheikh-Sanya Malhotra starrer ‘Dangal’ released but the craze for this sports biopic just refuses to die down.

'We never dreamt of this': Aamir surprised as Dangal earns Rs 872 crore in China

Known as Uncle Khan among Chinese fans, Aamir’s Dangal has earned two-third of its total collections, which is already a little over 1800 crores, from the Chinese market.

Not just ‘Dangal’, the superstar’s other two releases in the country—3 Idiots and PK—have done exceptionally well. In order to show their love for the film based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita, Chinese fans have created their own music video of the ‘Dhaakad’ song and it is beyond adorable.

Chinese President Xi to Modi: Dangal is doing well in China

Despite the language barrier, fans in the video are seen channelling the same level of aggression that younger Geeta (Zaira Wasim) and Babita (Suhani Bhatnagar) had in the original song. Keeping the Indian theme in mind, the fans have also worn Indian attires like Salwar Kameez and Kurti and are also seen dancing to the peppy tune of the song.

Earlier, there were rumours that the film has crossed 2000 cr mark. But the spokesperson of ‘Dangal’ cleared the air, saying, “We have been reading a lot of reports saying that 'Dangal' has crossed 2000 crs worldwide. Just to set the record straight, we want to clarify that Dangal's official worldwide gross collection figure as of Thursday is 1864 Crs. We are very happy that our film has been so successful, and what is of most value for Aamir Khan and the entire team of Dangal is the immense love the film has got from the audience across the globe. We are looking forward for the film to release in other untapped territories to reach more audience.”
