Mumbai: Amid controversy around the video spoof of melody queen Lata Mangeshkar and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar by comedian Tanmay Bhat, John Abraham said everybody on social media has become "brave" because of faceless identity.

All you guys have become so brave on the net because no one has a face today. It's fantastic to combat faceless people on the net. Congratulations to all those on the social media.
Recently, Sonam Kapoor came out in Tanmay's support and said that the video has been misinterpreted and the group does nothing to "offend" people. She took to her social media handle and wrote, "Being living legends I know @sachin_rt and @mangeshkarlata don't even know and care about what's going on!stop spewing hate on their behalf!"
