Preity Zinta Teams Up With Kunal Khemu
She plays a lead character in Vibe
After Madgaon Express, Kunal Khemu is all set for his second directorial venture titled Vibe. Preity Zinta joins him!
Vibe, produced by Kunal and Chirag Nihalani under the Drongo Films banner, will release in theatres on September 18. Preity, who is the owner of an IPL cricket team, says she is seriously looking at returning to acting. “But the role has to be worth my time, like the strong individualistic characters I play in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1945 and Kunal Khemu’s Vibe. But I don’t want to be in a film just for timepass,” she asserts.
Kunal’s Vibe has four main characters, and Preity plays one of them.
“The industry has changed. So have the conventions of movie-making. Every actor is a character actor, and I am happy being one of them,” says Preity.
