Paw-fect Communicators!
As more people engage with pet psychic communicators, pet parents and experts share some insights
Ever looked into your dog’s eyes and just wondered if it judged your life choices? Or felt like your cat, being the diva she is, simply had some cosmic secret she refused to share? (Even if bribed with tuna!) Well, you’re not alone. Enter the whimsical world of pet psychic communications, where dogs and cats just don’t bark and meow, they talk!
Heart-To-Heart Talk
“Pet psychic communication is nothing short of a sacred, heart-to-heart dialogue between you and your pet,” says Aleesha Agarwal Goyal, Pet Psychic Communicator & founder of The Mystic Purple in Mumbai. As a practising pet psychic, Aleesha, like many in the field, believes that animals communicate in ways that go far beyond barks or meows. Their messages, she says, are conveyed via images, emotions, the food they eat or the energy they hold when around you.
For her, communicating with animals isn’t a form of decoding their behaviour. It’s about sharing a deeply nurtured understanding with them.
Aleesha recalls one recent session that particularly moved her, involving two cats who shared the same room. While the pet parent had lovingly kept both animals together to ensure neither felt lonely, something wasn’t right. During the session, the older cat began showing signs of significant emotional stress. As Aleesha tuned in, a simple yet profound message emerged: the older cat simply felt uneasy in the company of the younger feline.
“When asked, she revealed her distress came from having to share her space,” Aleesha explains. Then came a gentle question from the older little kitty- one that surprised the pet parent: “Is it possible for us to have different rooms?” It was a quiet plea from the older cat, not for rejecting the younger one but just asking for time to adjust to the other. Once the pet parent adjusted, separating the two cats into individual rooms, the result followed. The older cat’s anxiety dissolved because it finally felt heard.
Purr-fect Pals
An animal communication session isn’t just a mystical chat with whiskers and wagging tails. It is an intuitive and in-depth process. The sessions usually begin with a pre-session phase, where the communicator takes time to ground themselves, tuning in intuitively to the pet’s energy. This quiet preparation sets the tone for the next stage: the Intuitive Dialogue. A 45-minute session costs anywhere between `2,000 and `8,000.
This Dialogue phase can last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. It’s here where the real "conversation" happens. Dr. Parul Chaudhri, an Animal Communicator and Pet Psychic, explains that during this phase, communicators receive messages from animals in the form of images, words, sensations, or even emotional waves. She adds, “At this point, the animal usually begins to feel safe and comfortable, and will often share insights related to emotional distress, physical discomfort, or sometimes even joyful, playful memories.”
Some people might call this magic, but in reality, it’s just mindfulness. Dr Parul opines that animals do speak, but we need to quiet our minds to truly hear them. Dr Parul emphasises that pets often express themselves in subtle ways — through body language, energy shifts or changes in behaviour.
She advises pet parents to look out for the following behaviour: “Unexplained anxiety, mood changes post shifting to new homes or even a quiet withdrawal following the loss of a companion (whether animal or human).” Dr Parul believes these to be signs and signals. Signals that are sent across but are often missed.
Pet Parents Speak
We often joke about wishing that our pets could talk. But perhaps the real question isn’t whether they talk or not, but rather, “Are we listening the right way?”
Simran Singh, Pet parent & Founder & Creative Head of RSVP says, “When it comes to pet psychic communications, you either believe it or you don’t.” Simran opines that she doesn’t identify herself as a non-believer. She quips, “I’ve always approached it with a pinch of salt!”
Simran shares a recent experience she had with her eight-year-old beagle- Poppins. It was when they recently shifted from Delhi to Mumbai that this change became evident. Poppins had just withdrawn from his new home surroundings. Simran says, “He’s always been a cheerful explorer, but this time something felt off.”
It was then that she approached an animal communicator. What followed next, struck a deep chord. Simran shares that the communicator told them that Poppins wasn’t upset about the recent move. He was upset because she wasn’t happy with the recent shift. He was simply mirroring her stress and exhaustion!
While pet psychics and animal communicators help dig deep into what our pets think, pet parents are also capable of connecting with their pets. The requirement — less language, more presence.
Mindful Connections
In today’s fast-paced lives, being quiet seems unfamiliar. People tend to forget that two eyes, one little nosy and a happy wagging tail always sit by the door to welcome us. They don’t just notice us, but quite often may even reflect the tension or the silence we experience. Simran believes that she understands her dogs without the need for a common language. “It’s an unspoken connection that runs deep.” Perhaps, creating a protective, calm and grounded space would allow our little friends to feel safe and open up better. Communication doesn’t always begin with speaking. It begins with watching and being considerate to those who are watching!
