Parvathy Thiruvothu has joined Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming aviation action thriller Captain India. The film marks the return of Shimit Amin, the critically acclaimed director behind hits like Chak De! India and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year.

The story is inspired by a real-life, high-stakes humanitarian rescue mission in a war-torn country. Kartik Aaryan will play the courageous pilot leading the operation. Production schedules are set to span both India and Morocco.

Shooting is set to begin in September.
