‘My Daughter Isn’t Allowed A Mobile’
Abhishek describes Aish as a strict but indulgent mother
Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s 14-year-old daughter, Aaradhya, does not own a personal cellphone.
Talking about raising his daughter, Abhishek said: “It is not something to create a brouhaha about. Aaradhya is only 14 and definitely not old enough to have her own phone. When she needs to call a friend, she uses my phone or her mother’s.”
Abhishek describes Aishwarya as a strict but indulgent mother. “There is nothing Aaradhya is denied, as long as it is suitable for her age and temperament. I must say she has turned out to be a fine young woman, and very bright—all thanks to her mother.”
When asked if he would like his daughter to enter the family profession, Abhishek said, “Of course, why not? It is entirely up to her whether she wants to be an actor like her parents and her Nana and Nani.”
Speaking about his nephew, Agastya, Abhishek said: “Right now, we are all very excited about his release, Ikkis. He is unlike any other Bachchans. He is his own man, and I think he will surprise audiences in the film.”
