Kirtan Nadagouda, co-director and associate director known for his work on KGF: Chapter 1, KGF: Chapter 2 and Salaar under filmmaker Prashanth Neel, has suffered a devastating personal loss. His four-year-old son, Sonarsh K. Nadagouda, died in a tragic elevator accident.

The incident reportedly took place in Hyderabad, where the child entered an elevator alone and became trapped, suffering fatal injuries despite rescue efforts. The family has not issued an official statement, but the news has been confirmed by industry sources and public figures.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan expressed his grief on social media, calling the incident heartbreaking and offering condolences to Kirtan and his wife. “I am deeply saddened to learn about the death of four-and-a-half-year-old Sonarsh in a lift accident. I express my deepest condolences to Kirtan and his wife and pray that God gives them strength to bear this immense loss,” he wrote.
