Kartik Aaryan Suffers Knee Injury on Set
To undergo surgery on August 20
Kartik Aaryan suffered a severe knee injury while filming an intense action sequence in Mumbai and is scheduled to undergo knee surgery on August 20.
The accident occurred during the final two days of shooting for director Kabir Khan’s sports drama. The actor was immediately rushed to the Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mahim, Mumbai.
After the surgery, he will have to be on complete rest for a few days.
Karthik plays a kickboxing coach in the film, which is also his debut as a producer under Dopamine Studios.
According to a source close to the actor, Kartik had undergone extensive training for the demanding action choreography.
The accident has forced the shooting of the film to be temporarily halted, almost at the finish line. It will also delay the start of the next schedule of Kartik’s romantic drama with Sreeleela, directed by Anurag Basu.
