‘Hukum’ Reigns Supreme

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, premiered globally on Thursday to massive fanfare. Theatres turned into carnival grounds as fans celebrated with firecrackers, milk abhishekam, folk percussion and camphor aarti before giant cutouts of the Superstar. His daughter Soundarya joined fans at Kasi Talkies, dancing to Hukum and chanting, “There is only one Sun, only one Moon and only one Thalaivar.” Dhanush, who arrived with his sons at Rohini Theatre, called it a “MUST MUST MUST watch. BLOCKBUSTER. A FEAST for every Thalaivar fan” on X. Sivakarthikeyan, also at the FDFS, posted: “#Jailer double blast! Indraikkum endrendraikkum oru Thalaivar dhan.” Arjun Das, Karthik Subbaraj and RJ Balaji were also spotted at the premiere, as fans in ‘Tiger Ka Hukum’ T-shirts erupted.
