Fahadh Faasil To Debut as Hero in Tollywood
A fantasy comedy adventure, the film is being made as a Telugu–Malayalam bilingual
Maverick Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is debuting as the lead in a Telugu film titled Don’t Trouble The Trouble. Faasil’s popularity among Telugu audiences was amplified after he played the villain in Pushpa 2.
Directed by Shashank Yeleti, presented by SS Rajamouli and produced by the latter’s son Karthikeya along with Baahubali makers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, Don’t Trouble The Trouble will feature Faasil as an unlikely hero who rises from the ashes.
In an exclusive interaction, Shobu Yarlagadda shared, “Don’t Trouble The Trouble is a Telugu/Malayalam film starring Fahadh Faasil. It’s the story of a hustler who tries to make a quick buck, gets into trouble, and in the process, builds a relationship with a little girl which changes him for the better.”
Shobu says it was not difficult to get Fahadh to come on board. “Actually, it was pretty straightforward. We narrated the story, he liked it and immediately agreed.”
The shooting for the comedy-drama, described as a fantasy-adventure film, is currently in progress at Hyderabad.
