Asha Bhosle’s Tribute To Sister Lata Mangeshkar
She’s planning a musical concert on the 3rd death anniverssary of the legendary singer

On 6 February it will be three years since we lost our Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar. In honour of that occasion, Lataji’s sister Asha Bhosle is planning a musical concert where she will sing some of her favourite songs sung by Lataji.
Says Asha Bhosle, “Lata didi was Lata didi. During her lifetime I’d have never dared to sing her songs. What she sang was already taken to perfection. Now it’s time for me to pay my humble homage,a younger sister’s shradhanjali to her elder sister whom the world knows as the voice of India.”
Elaborating on her relationship with her sister Ashaji says, “People saw us as being at loggerheads. This was not the case. We loved each dearly. I always consulted her for all my important decisions.”
