Hyderabad Set To Host Three Major Shooting Competitions
The three competitions being conducted are: Second Telangana Big Bore Shooting Competition; Deccan Elite Open Big Bore Grand Prix and Second Super Big Bore Open Shooting Competition.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rifle Association (TRA) is all set to host three major shooting competitions from August 18 to 21 at the OCTOPUS Shooting Range at Ibrahimpatnam in Hyderabad. The competitions are expected to bring together talented athletes, experienced coaches and members of the shooting fraternity from across the country.
The three competitions being conducted are: Second Telangana Big Bore Shooting Competition; Deccan Elite Open Big Bore Grand Prix and Second Super Big Bore Open Shooting Competition.
Speaking ahead of the competitions, Amit Sanghi, senior vice-president, National Rifle Association of India; president, Telangana Rifle Association; and vice-president, Telangana Olympic Association, said: “Every competition is an opportunity for an athlete to test their preparation, strengthen their confidence and move one step closer to excellence. I warmly welcome athletes, coaches and members of the shooting fraternity to Hyderabad and encourage them to make the best use of these three competitions.”
“Big Bore and Super Big Bore events demand exceptional discipline, technical skill, mental strength and complete control. These competitions have been planned to offer athletes a strong and competitive platform where they can challenge themselves, learn from one another and experience the true spirit of shooting sport,” he added.
