Ayansh, Hiyan And Parivita Win Tennis Titles
The tournament featured young players
Hyderabad: Ayansh Abhilashi, Hiyan Shah, Parivita and Upadhriti emerged champions in the Tennis Premier League-hosted State Ranking Tournament in Hyderabad, in association with the Telangana State Tennis Association.
The tournament featured young players competing across boys Under-10, U-12 and U-14 and and girls U-12 and U-14 categories under Race to Gold Scholarship Program.
In the Boys U-10 final, Ayansh defeated Month Sai 6-5 (7-3). Hiyan won the U-12 final with a 6-4 victory over Venkatram Jayakrishna while Adhitya Devarakonda beat Adyan Kabbir 6-2 in the U-14 final.
On the girls side, Parivita blanked Thanusri C 6-0 for the U-12 title before beating Upadhriti by a similar 6-0 scoreline in the U-14 final.
The Race to Gold Scholarship provides young tennis players with a year of tennis equipment support, including a tennis racquet, professional kit bag and much more, along with regular access to experts through sessions with coaches, nutritionists, physiotherapists and mental trainers. It also gives them opportunities to meet Indian and international tennis players, interact with tennis legends and experience the Tennis Premier League, helping them build confidence, stay motivated and gain the right exposure to pursue their tennis journey.
The tournament also comes ahead of the highly anticipated eighth season of the Tennis Premier League, set to be hosted in Hyderabad in December, further strengthening the league’s presence in Telangana.
