Hyderabad:  The Telangana government has accorded permission for a hike in ticket prices for Yash-starrer Toxic, which is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26. The revised ticket prices will be applicable for 10 days from the film’s release.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi.  Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Expectations are very high on the film. Not only Yash's fans but also the movie lovers are eagerly waiting for the release of the film.

As per the government order (GO), the enhanced ticket rates will apply to all theatres in the state. Single-screen theatres can charge an additional Rs 50, including GST, while multiplexes and special theatres can charge an additional Rs 100, including GST.

The GO also directed KVN-Monster Mind Creations LLP to compulsorily contribute Rs 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee account operated by the Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC).

District Collectors, Commissioners of Police, licensing authorities and other concerned officials have been directed to take necessary action and ensure compliance by theatre managements.
