Woman Killed, 4 Hurt As Car, RTC Bus Collide

Nizamabad:A woman died and four others were injured in a road accident at Dasnagar in Makloor mandal on National Highway 63 on Saturday. The incident occurred when a speeding RTC bus collided with a car carrying the victims. The deceased was identified as Mohammadi (52), a resident of Makloor.

According to police, Sheik Sohail of Makloor was travelling with his family to a hospital in Nizamabad for medical treatment. While their car was crossing the road at Dasnagar, it was hit by an RTC bus on the Nizamabad-Armoor route. As a result, Mohammadi sustained critical injuries and later died at the hospital.

Driver Sheik Sohail, his sister-in-law Sadia, and her two children also sustained injuries in the accident. Makloor police sub-inspector Rajasekhar rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
