Wife Kills Husband Over Retirement Money in Husnabad

Siddipet: A woman allegedly killed her husband following an argument over retirement benefits and property at Hanuman Nagar in Husnabad, Siddipet district, on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Venkatesam, who was working as a Commercial Tax Officer in Asifabad and was about to retire this month. His wife, Rajamani, was working as an ANM.

According to reports, the couple argued over retirement money and property. During the altercation, Rajamani allegedly attacked Venkatesam with a rock, leaving him critically injured. He succumbed to his injuries.

Police reached the spot after receiving the information and have taken Rajamani into custody. 

Investigation is underway to know the exact reason behind the incident.
