Vivek Inaugurates Ambedkar Statue, Pledges Social Justice
At Adilabad event, minister vows equal opportunities and support for non-tribal concerns
Adilabad: Minister for mines and labour Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy on Sunday said the state government is guided by the principles of social justice and democracy as envisioned by B.R. Ambedkar, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens.
Speaking after inaugurating Ambedkar’s statue at the Talamadugu mandal headquarters in Adilabad district, Vivek Venkatswamy reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding democratic values and social justice. He also pledged to raise the concerns of non-tribal residents in the agency area with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and work toward their resolution.
Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, Boath MLA Anil Jadhav, and senior Congress leaders, including Atram Suguna, Addi Bhoja Reddy, Shyam Naik, Kandi Srinivas Reddy, Ade Gajender, B. Srikanth, Ganesh Reddy and Babanna Parameshwar, attended the event.
During the function, leaders from Narnoor presented petitions requesting the sanction of a Buddha Vihar, a community hall, an Ambedkar Bhavan, an integrated residential school, and issuance of Pahani certificates for agricultural lands they cultivate. Narnoor leaders in attendance included Atram Suguna, former sarpanch Gajanand, Dalit leader Narsingh More, Lokhande Chandrasekhar, Durge Kantha Rao and Mahender.
