Vijay, Rashmika File Complaint With Cybercops
Couple seeks legal action over misleading social media posts allegedly distorting their remarks on Koffee with Karan.
Hyderabad: A complaint has been filed with the DCP of Cyberabad Cyber Crime Police Station against individuals who have been spreading malicious propaganda on social media regarding Tollywood stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. In their complaint, they stated that certain people are deliberately circulating false information by distorting remarks made by Deverakonda and Mandanna during their appearance on the show, ‘Koffee with Karan’.
The complaint, filed by the couple residing in Gachibowli, requested legal action against the perpetrators of false propaganda and stated that the smear campaign has caused significant distress to them.
The couple informed the police officials that while they welcome the expression of opinions and constructive criticism, they will not tolerate deliberate, misleading, and malicious propaganda. They provided the DCP with details — including account information, screenshots, and other relevant data — pertaining to the fake posts. The officials stated that they would conduct a thorough investigation and take legal action against those responsible.
