WARANGAL: A two-year-old boy has died after being run over by a school bus at Pittakalibodu Tanda in Nekkonda mandal of Warangal district on Wednesday.
The deceased is the son of agricultural labourers Akhila and Badavath Ramesh.
The couple had gone to fields for work in the morning, while their children remained at home. According to available information, the boy rushed out through the gate while playing.
At the same time, a school bus belonging to Nekkonda Vidyaday High School passed by, hitting the child. The boy suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
