Hyderabad:Hyderabad traffic police, during special drives against obstruction of free‑left and minor driving violations over the past week, booked a total of 1,015 cases. Of these, 334 were registered against minor driving violations. Joint commissioner of city traffic D. Joel Davis said the drives would continue to ensure better traffic discipline and road safety. He advised the public not to obstruct free‑left movements and not to permit minors to drive vehicles.

He further cautioned vehicle owners and parents not to hand over vehicles to minors. Allowing an unlicensed person to drive is also an offence, and penal action will be taken against the vehicle owner as per law.
