Telangana Swimmers for Junior Nationals

Hyderabad:The Telangana Swimming Association announced the list of swimmers who will represent the State at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championship, scheduled to be held in the Aquatic Complex at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from August 18 to 23.

The swimmers were picked from the selection trials conducted at the 11th Telangana Sub-Junior and Junior Inter District Swimming Championship held on July 18 and 19 at the Aquatic Complex, GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Many of the swimmers won multiple medals. Baggu Goutham Shashi Vardhan Naidu won two golds and two silvers across freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke events.

The coaching camp for selected swimmers will be held from August 1 to 15 at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli and Zion Sports Academy. Swimmers should report to coaches John Siddique and Ayush Yadav, the TSA stated.

Boys Group 1B: Bandari Sai Sri Praneeth (Hyderabad), Damidi Amshumann Reddy (Warangal), Hridesh Majhi (Ranga Reddy), Sachinsatvik Suresh Saritha (Medchal-Malkajgiri), Tejas Kumar T. S (Medchal-Malkajgiri), Yashaswi Nune (Medchal-Malkajgiri).

Girls Group 1A: Addanki Mokshith (Hyderabad), Aditi Nadella (Hyderabad), Meera Beniwal (Hyderabad), Sri Nithya Sagi (Medchal-Malkajgiri), Sudhiksha Krishna (Medchal-Malkajgiri).
