Telangana Police Bagged a Hat-Trick of National Titles at Duty Meet

Hyderabad:Telangana police created history by winning the trophy for the third consecutive year at the 69th All India Police Duty Meet held at Nagpur in Maharashtra. Director General of Police B. The Telangana team, trained under the supervision of the CID wing, secured the first place and gold medals in anti-sabotage checks, videography, and computer awareness. The team earned second place in scientific aids to investigation and police photography categories.
Officials said Telangana police had won the championship in Lucknow in 2023-24 and Ranchi 2024-25, and continued their winning streak in Nagpur this year for a remarkable hat-trick.
In total, the team bagged six gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. The DGP also appreciated senior officers, coaches, and team managers for their efforts in training and guiding the participants. Shivadhar Reddy emphasised that such achievements highlight the department’s commitment to adopting advanced technology and scientific methods in crime investigation, ultimately strengthening public safety and effective law enforcement.
