Hyderabad: The police took Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, D Sridhar Babu, Adluri Laxman Kumar, Vakiti Srihari and TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud and shifted them to Panjagutta police station for trying to march towards Lok Bhavan in Somajiguda demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Holding party flags, they took out a rally from the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and tried to proceed towards Lok Bhavan. But the police foiled their attempts and took them into preventive custody.

A large number of party cadres took part in the rally resulting in traffic chaos for a while on the ever-busy stretch from Khairatabad flyover to NTR Gardens.
