Telangana HC directs state govt to pay retirement benefits to headmaster

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court directed the state government to pay retirement benefits to a headmaster within eight weeks. B. Venkatesham of Siddipet had approached the High Court stating that though he had retired on March 31, 2024, the treasury department had not paid his gratuity, commutation, encashment of earned leave and General Provident Fund.
Government Pleader aid the amounts were not released due to a dearth of funds. He submitted that as per seriatim of the token numbers, amounts will be released to the beneficiaries.
