Telangana Govt Clears Recruitment of 5,000 Police Personnel
The permission was granted after the State government reviewing the status of direct recruitment vacancies in various categories
Hyderabad: Telangana government has accorded permission for filling-up of 5,000 various categories of vacancies, under the administrative control of Director General of Police, Hyderabad, by way of Direct Recruitment, through the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) here.
Of the 5,000 posts, 148 were related to Sub-Inspectors of Police (SI) (Civil), 14 Armed Reserve, 12 TGSP RSIs, 3,697 police constables (Civil), 1,052 police constables (Armed Reserve) and other vacancies.
An order to this effect was issued by the Finance department. The permission was granted after the State government reviewing the status of direct recruitment vacancies in various categories.
The board would take the necessary steps for direct recruitment to the vacant posts permitted to be filled up, by obtaining the requisite details, such as local cadre-wise vacancy position, roster points, qualifications, etc., from the Secretary and Heads of Department concerned.
The Board would issue a notification and schedule for recruitment, expeditiously. The Principal Secretary to Government, Home department, shall furnish the details of all vacant posts permitted to be filled up, including the local cadre wise distribution, roster points, qualifications, etc., to the Board under intimation to the Finance Department, immediately.
The provisions as to the recruitment agency, if any specified in the special rules, may be suitably amended by the administrative department in accordance with the order, wherever necessary.
