Telangana Government Clears Recruitment Of 5,000 Police Personnel
The government directed the recruitment board to obtain cadre-wise vacancy details, roster points, qualifications and other recruitment particulars from the home department and the DGP before issuing the recruitment notification and examination schedule at the earliest
Hyderabad: The state government has accorded permission to fill 5,000 vacancies in the police department through direct recruitment. The recruitment will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB).
The approval was issued through the finance (HRM.VII) department after reviewing the requirement for personnel under the administrative control of the Director General of Police (DGP).
According to the government order, the vacancies include 148 sub-inspectors (civil), 14 sub-inspectors (Armed Reserve), 12 reserve sub-inspectors (TG Special Police), three sub-inspectors (Special Armed Reserve Central Police Lines), 23 assistant sub-inspectors (Finger Print Bureau), 3,697 constables (civil), 1,052 constables (AR), 24 constables (SAR CPL), 20 constable (driver) posts and seven constable (mechanic) posts.
The government directed the recruitment board to obtain cadre-wise vacancy details, roster points, qualifications and other recruitment particulars from the home department and the DGP before issuing the recruitment notification and examination schedule at the earliest. The home department has also been instructed to furnish all required details immediately to facilitate the recruitment process.
