Congress MLA and Government Whip, Beerla Ilaiah, requested the Minister of women and child welfare Seethakka to take necessary steps for opening Indiramma canteens in Yadagirigutta to meet the requirements of devotees, who turn up in large numbers everyday 

Minister of women and child welfare Seethakka informed that the sarees were being procured from weavers in Sircilla but not from Surat or Mumbai with an aim to benefit weavers in the State 

Minister of women and child welfare Seethakka on Monday declared that the Indiramma sarees would be distributed to the women in cities under the second phase 

Minister of women and child welfare Seethakka said that the distribution of 30 lakh sarees was already completed in villages under the phase one of the scheme

Minister of women and child welfare Seethakka announced that the second phase of Indiramma saree distribution scheme would commence from March 1 to 8 in connection with the International Women’s Day
