Techie, Real-estate Firm Manager Held In Hyderabad For Possessing OG Kush

Hyderabad: A software engineer and a manager working in a real-estate company were arrested by the Prohibition and Excise department officials in Kacheguda for possessing OG Kush drug and foreign liquor bottles.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Excise Enforcement Joint Commissioner Syed Yasin Qureshi said an excise team led by Sub-Inspector Sandhya intercepted a car and bike at Kacheguda railway station.

After checking it, the team found the accused exchanging OG Kush and nabbed the accused.

As many as 500 grams of OG Kush, one kg of ganja, six grams of charas, 4.38 grams of Hash synthetic drug and five foreign liquor bottles, all worth over Rs.40 lakh were seized from the car. The team arrested real-estate company manager Pratheesh Bhat and software engineer Jaisurya, Qureshi said.

He said the arrested persons were found to be bringing the substance from Karnataka.
