The association sought a special allowance for super speciality doctors and implement an in-service quota for super speciality courses to improve services in government hospitals. It sought implementation of PMCA at the earliest. With large-scale promotions underway and recruitment already completed, this incentive will encourage faculty to serve in peripheral medical colleges, it said
The association also sought the introduction of a post-mortem allowance, an optional non-practising allowance (NPA) for faculty recruited through the 2023 recruitment, and earned leave encashment, transport allowance and academic allowance until AIIMS pay scales are implemented.
