Suryapet: Section 30 Restrictions in Force Till October 31
Public meetings, dharnas, rallies and other gatherings cannot be organised without prior permission from the authorities.
Suryapet: Police have imposed Section 30 of the Police Act in Suryapet district to maintain peace and prevent any untoward incidents. The restrictions will remain in force until October 31, 2026.
Suryapet District SP Narasimha IPS said orders have been issued to ensure law and order and prevent disturbances in the district.
Public meetings, dharnas, rallies and other gatherings cannot be organised without prior permission from the authorities. The police warned that strict action would be taken against those violating the orders.
The possession or display of prohibited weapons, including knives and firearms, has also been restricted. The use of high-decibel sound systems, DJs and microphones without permission is prohibited.
The police appealed to the public to cooperate with the authorities and follow the restrictions to maintain peace and public order in the district.
