South Central Railway GM Calls for Safety Awareness Among Field Staff
Srivastava asked the field staff to be more vigilant for any suspicious activities, so as to prevent miscreants from damaging railway assets or disrupting train operations.
Hyderabad:During a safety review meeting, South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava told officials to create more awareness among the field staff on the importance of wearing retro reflective jackets and other safety equipment while at work.
The meeting, attended by principal heads, discussed the safety of field level employees in traction distribution, signal and telecom wings, pointsmen and engineering staff, according to a statement. Srivastava also advised the divisions to regularly sensitise shunting staff on safety precautions to be taken during shunting operations.
