SNA-SPARSH: School Headmasters In 630 Mandals To Get Financial Management Training On Sept 22

HYDERABAD: Headmasters of primary, upper primary and high schools across 630 mandals will receive training on SNA-SPARSH on September 22, after Samagra Shiksha trained 630 selected drawing and disbursing officers (DDOs) on fund management, bill submission and maintenance of financial records.
The DDOs attended a one-day orientation on Friday and have been directed to conduct the mandal-level sessions for headmasters in their respective areas.
Officials were taken through the objectives of SNA-SPARSH, rules and procedures, documents required and the steps involved in processing bills.
A live session on DDO Bill Preparation in Form-58 explained how bills should be prepared and submitted. Experts also covered proceedings related to SNA-SPARSH, post-bill activities, dos and don’ts for successful submission, and maintenance of registers, cash books and vouchers. A session was conducted at the end to address questions from the DDOs.
