Hyderabad: The Hyderabad District Election Authority (DEA) has started serving notices to some sections of voters as part of the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. On Monday, the notices were given to applications with anomalies as well as electors whose details furnished in the voter enumeration forms could not be mapped or linked with the SIR 2002 electoral rolls.

The notice copy had details of the anomalies and the reason for which the vote was not mapped. The rectification of anomalies and other issues will done in coming days.

He informed them that electors should carefully verify the details mentioned in the notice and submit the required documents and information within the prescribed timeline. Voters were advised to approach the booth level officers concerned for clarification or assistance. He stressed that the election staff should maintain proper coordination and address public queries promptly and make every effort to facilitate eligible citizens in completing the SIR process smoothly.
