Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) held a detailed review meeting on train operational safety, during which general manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava interacted with heads of various departments.
The meeting reviewed cable maintenance, signalling checks and safety measures at level crossings. Srivastava stressed the need for regular safety drives and night inspections to ensure safe train operations.
Ten employees from various safety categories across the Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions received the Employee of the Month awards for their exemplary commitment to duty and alertness in preventing unsafe conditions.
The awardees included three station masters. The recognition highlighted the employees’ contribution to maintaining operational safety and their vigilance in identifying and preventing potential hazards across the railway network.
