SCR Employees Honoured With Safety Awards

Ten employees of South Central Railway from Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions were presented safety awards during a review meeting at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, on Monday. General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava gave away the awards in the presence of principal heads of departments and divisional railway managers. The awardees included two locomotive pilots, four track maintainers, one technician, two goods train managers and one station master. Srivastava congratulated them for their alertness and commitment to duty, saying their example would inspire others to remain vigilant and ensure safe train operations. He emphasised strict compliance with safety protocols across departments, directing that cable maintenance, signalling checks and rail fittings be carried out diligently. Special focus was laid on level crossing safety, with instructions for surprise inspections, safety drives and night checks.
