Sangareddy: A 23-year-old man died by suicide after losing a huge amount of money in online betting in Bonthapalli of Gummadidala mandal in Sangareddy district.

The deceased was identified as Srikanth. According to preliminary reports, he had lost around Rs.9 lakh through online betting.

Unable to cope with the financial losses, Srikanth died by suicide by hanging at his residence.

Family members who found him alerted the police. Police reached the spot and shifted the body to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
