RTA Constable Suspended After Bribery Video

Hyderabad:The transport department on Monday suspended Bandlaguda RTA constable Arun after a video went viral on social media showing him counting unauthorised cash. During departmental investigation, MVI M. Bhim Singh and RTO Ram Chander were also removed from duties and attached to the transport headquarters on charges of allowing agents into RTO offices and lack of proper supervision.

Basing the video as evidence, the transport commissioner ordered a full‑scale investigation into the bribery angle. The department warned that stern action would be taken against in‑charge heads of RTOs if found allowing agents into office premises, sources disclosed.
