Revanth Reddy Directs Officials To Expedite Warangal Super-Speciality Hospital Works
CM Revanth Reddy directs officials to speed up Warangal super-speciality hospital construction and ensure OP services begin at the earliest.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to accelerate construction of the Warangal super-speciality hospital and prepare a special work schedule for round-the-clock construction over the next 30 days.
During a review meeting at the Bodhi Pavilion of MCRHRD in Hyderabad on Monday, Revanth Reddy questioned officials over the delay despite funds being released through the green channel. He directed officials to ensure there was no further delay and to monitor the works closely.
The Chief Minister directed officials of the Chief Minister’s Office to make regular field visits and review the progress. He also ordered the appointment of a special officer for each work and constitution of a dedicated coordination committee to ensure coordination among departments.
Warangal collector Satya Sarada was asked to personally monitor the works every day. Special officers should be appointed wherever necessary to expedite the works, he said.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to prioritise the launch of OP services at the earliest, on the lines of the TIMS facility at Sanath Nagar in Hyderabad. He also instructed officials to develop the hospital surroundings and ensure all essential facilities were made available.
He directed officials to immediately commence construction of quarters for hospital staff and examine the possibility of handing over hospital management to a specialised agency.
