Rs 11.10 Crore Sanctioned for Emergency Repairs at RIMS Adilabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 11.10 crore from the revolving fund of the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust (RAHCT) for emergency repair and restoration works at RIMS Hospital, Adilabad, following damage caused by the air-conditioner explosion. The health, medical and family welfare department issued a memo on Thursday permitting the RAHCT chief executive officer to release the amount for the works.

According to the memo, the amount will be adjusted against pending dues or future claim payments under the Aarogyasri scheme. The sanction followed requests from the RAHCT chief executive officer and the Adilabad collector for emergency repairs at the hospital.
