Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, has been recognised as India’s fastest-growing metropolitan airport, achieving a 15% growth in passenger traffic in 2024, according to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

RGIA has introduced new routes, improved passenger amenities and implemented technology-driven solutions to enhance the travel experience. “This milestone is a testament to our expanding global and domestic connectivity, making travel more seamless and accessible. With new routes, enhanced passenger amenities and tech-driven solutions, we’re committed to making every journey smoother and more memorable,” said the authority.
