Revanth Reddy Seeks Modi’s Help to Accelerate Telangana’s Development
"I strongly believe that you will provide me with full support, just like former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did to develop Telangana,” CM
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Sunday urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to set up a special single window task force in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) to ensure that all projects of national importance quickly get approvals from the Center to metro cities.
“Modi ji, I have met you and Union Ministers many times regarding positive decisions for my state and my people. Some projects related to our state require your urgent approvals. You should allocate two hours and review the projects related to Musi River, Metro Rail, Radial Roads, and the 12-lane road from Hyderabad to Machilipatnam,” he said.
Revanth Reddy said this during the visit of Prime Minister to Hyderabad after laying the foundation stone, inaugurating and dedicating to the nation multiple development projects worth around Rs.9,400 crore in Telangana.
“Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay say you have a big heart. Modi ji also knows that Telangana has a big heart. Today they want to see it firsthand. The people of Telangana are hoping that you will approve all the pending works and proposals related to Telangana's development today,” he said.
“I am confident that we will reach a $1 trillion economy by 2034. I hope that we will reach a $3 trillion economy by 2047. Just as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh blessed us then, you should also bless the people of Telangana,” he said.
“When you (Modi) were the Chief Minister of Gujarat, you developed the Gujarat model with the help of the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The people of Telangana also want to develop our state with your help in the next ten years. I believe that you will provide me with full support, just like Manmohan Singh did,” he said.
