Revanth Reddy Lauds Telangana Archer Chikitha Taniparthi on Asian Games Gold

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended congratulations to Chikitha Taniparthi from Telangana, along with Sahil Jadhav, for not only showcasing remarkable talent by winning the gold medal in mixed compound archery at the Asian Games taking place in Japan but also qualifying for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Praising the archer Chikitha for achieving two gold medals in a single day at the Asian Games and bringing fame to Telangana on the world stage, he stated that she has become a matter of pride for the state. The Chief Minister congratulated the parents and coaches who recognized the talent of Chikitha from Peddapalli and supported her from behind.
Chikitha, who won the gold medal in the compound women's team category and also teamed up with Sahil Jadhav to defeat South Korea and secure the gold medal in the mixed team category, will have her name etched in the history of Telangana's sports arena, he said.
He noted that this victory, achieved through Chikitha's continuous practice, perseverance, and firm determination, will serve as great inspiration for athletes.
