Nalgonda: Police have reportedly solved the mystery behind the deaths of four family members whose decomposed bodies were found in a house in Telangana Colony, Nalgonda, last week and suspect a property dispute was the motive behind these gruesome murders. A detailed investigation was conducted under the aegis of District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar. The victims were identified as Mohd Sultan, his wife Haseena, son Muzzamil and daughter Afraza.

Police had a tough time cracking the case as there were no sign of forced entry and the family members usually kept to themselves. According to reports, Haseena's daughter from her first marriage Asha Butani and her husband who is an auto driver were among eight people taken into custody for questioning.

Police found that Haseena, who was thrice married reportedly owned property worth around Rs. 1 crore, and gold and had planned to share it with Sultan and his children. Angered by the decision, the daughter and son-in-law allegedly hired a supari gang from Hyderabad to eliminate the family. Earlier there was a burglary reported in their house, which led to the police conducting a high level probe in the matter. Further investigation is underway.
