Private Travel Bus Collides With Lorry in Khammam, Driver Killed

Khammam: The driver of a private travel bus was killed and several passengers were injured after the bus collided with a lorry near the Greenfields Highway exit in Somavaram village of Wyra mandal on Tuesday.

The accident occurred when the bus was travelling from Devarapally to Khammam. The impact was severe, bus driver died on the spot and while several others sustained major injuries.

On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
