PMJ Heist Prime Accused Brought to Karimnagar

The robbery took place in Karimnagar town on May 3, when the accused allegedly opened fire on the store staff.

Adilabad:Karimnagar police brought prime accused Subodh Singh from Purnea Central Jail in Bihar to Karimnagar on Thursday night in connection with the PMJ jewellery store robbery, police said.

The robbery took place in Karimnagar town on May 3, when the accused allegedly opened fire on the store staff.

Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam said a special police team went to Bihar and secured Singh’s custody on a prisoner transit warrant. He said the team had clearance for six PT warrants from six courts, as cases were registered against Singh in different matters.

Police produced Singh before a Karimnagar court, which remanded him to judicial custody. Police have filed a petition seeking his custody for one week for further investigation.
