Personal Grudge Leads to Singareni Colony Murder; Auto Driver Held

Hyderabad: The Saidabad police apprehended a 21-year-old auto-rickshaw driver Endravath Suman for the brutal murder of Mohammed Fasi Ahmed Ameer at Singareni Colony three days ago.
The investigation indicated that the accused had a long-standing grudge against Ameer involving regular personal quarrels. On August 4, a physical confrontation occurred, during which the accused used a knife and attacked him with it across the neck, head and fled in an auto-rickshaw.
He threw knife in Saroornagar lake to conceal and destroy the evidence, said Soma Venkat Reddy, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Saidabad Division.
The police seized clothes of the accused, an auto-rickshaw, and a mobile device from the possession of the accused. The police also recovered the knife from Saroornagar lake with support of personnel of HYDRAA.
